Cyndi came to visit us last week. She picked a great week to come to Brooklyn. We had amazing weather with the temperature in the 70s. Cyndi was a pro with baby Zadie. She watched her while I got all my doctor appointments out the way and while Nate and I went out for our first dinner alone since Zadie was born. We enjoyed the tasting menu at Applewood in Park Slope. It was divine.
Having Cyndi around for the week made me long for the rest of my family. I wish everyone lived a few blocks away. I wish I could grab lunch with my mom and sisters, watch football with my Dad on Sundays, go to farmer's markets with Louise and Doug, take long walks with Bob and Susan and pop over to Chris and Caroline's for parenting advice. I love you all and miss you greatly.
